Group Therapies

Click Therapies offers a range of online support groups which fulfil NICE guideline recommendations for psychoeducation and guidance for family members and carers of persons with a mental health disorder.

This allows them to support the individual in the application of the therapy they are receiving. It also provides a range of tools to assist attendees to maintain their own mental health whilst supporting the person with the diagnosis.

What we offer?

Currently, we offer a number of groups for staff, service users, and carers. We run PTSD, Anxiety and a group for Depression.

The groups provide an overview of the diagnosis including symptoms, presentation and how to support the client with the diagnosis. In addition, it provides an overview of the approved therapy modalities and the process by which they are delivered to inform the carer or family member as to what the client is experiencing through the course of therapy

How does it work?

The courses are delivered as eight 90-minute sessions, once a week online over the course of two months. They are held in groups of 6-8 people who are all supporting a person with a similar condition.

What can I expect?

You will receive an invite to all 8 sessions, and you will also receive a number of documents to support your learning throughout the course. Bringing a notepad and pen is recommended as there is a lot of information and it is hoped that all participants are willing to share their ideas around supporting a client with a diagnosis.

How do I access this?

If you are an organisation a set course can be purchased from us for either 6 or 8 people. As an individual who is self-funding you can express an interest and pay a percentage of the cost of the course once sufficient people have expressed an interest to fill it.
