Our list of therapy sessions

Our therapists provide a variety of therapy sessions that are selected depending on the needs of the patient. Below is the list of therapy sessions that we provide here at Click Therapies.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think, feel and behave.

CBT has been developed over a period of 50 years and is considered to be one of the most reliable therapies for depression and anxiety as well as other stress related or physical health conditions. It is also an evidence-based therapy recommended in national treatment guidelines as well as by the world health organisation (WHO).

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is most effective in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, and phobias, continued distressing memories or trauma, and sometimes even depression and addictions.

EMDR is a type of psychotherapy treatment. Its purpose is one that’s intended to relieve stress and other negative feelings that can be caused by traumatic memories. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Online Counselling is a talking therapy in which you access a counsellor via a secure, confidential online video platform. Our online counsellors help you to discover how to manage difficulties in your life.

Online Counselling with Click Therapies usually consists of 6 to 12 sessions. Your online counsellor does not usually offer advice on what course of action to take, instead the counselling is about helping you to work out your own solutions in your own way, like a journey of self-discovery.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is similar to cognitive-behavioral therapy . CPT is found to be effective for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is the recommended treatment of choice to treat humanitarian and combat related traumas – or as an emergency worker, such as a firefighter, police officer & NHS.

A course of treatment will normally last typically between 12 sessions. Additional sessions may be advised, depending on the severity of the condition.

Behavioural Activation Therapy

Behavioural Activation (BA) is a psychological therapy and is extremely effective treatment for depression. It involves working on patterns of behaviour that have become unhelpful. When you feel depressed or anxious, you may be less likely to do the things you enjoy or avoid other potentially pleasurable activities.
